1. The Emotional Eater.
These are people who solely depend on food when they are triggered by emotional stress. Here food is used to comfort and to celebrate. Eating is driven by moods, stress, anxiety and irritability.
Solution: Instead of resorting to eating when stressed out, do other sort of activities like reading a book or watching a movie.
- The ‘Easy Goer’ Eater
These are people who work out like crazy, eat healthy food religiously during weekdays or also known as ‘Fitness days’ but binge and cheat like there is no tomorrow when it’s their day off.
Solution: Remember that it’s OK to indulge yourself occasionally but practice moderation always. Moderation is key
- The Insatiable Eater
These are the people who never stop eating whenever they see food, even if they’re not hungry. They certainly lack the self-discipline when it comes to eating.
Solution: Keep a Journal with you and log in all the foods you ate for the day. Don’t overeat and take your time while eating – chew your food properly. Don’t have a food journal? You can order yours here.
- The Fast Food Eater
These people are prone to eating at fast food restaurants all the time because they find it more convenient to just order in rather than cooking food for themselves.
Solution: Find or create some free time in your schedule to prepare some of your meals. You can cook meals in advance, freeze and reheat when needed.
- The Multi Tasker
These people tend not to mind how much they’re eating because their attention is being drawn elsewhere. They don’t even realize how much food they are consuming.
Solution: Drop everything else you are doing when you are eating. Try to concentrate on eating your food during meal time and savor the taste.
- The Nibble Eaters
These people eat small portions of food but eat all day long. They most likely eat every now and then out of boredom or curiosity. They don’t realize the accumulated calories consumed in a day
